Leilani, BD Manager at Verde Design, Inc., brings 30+ years of diverse A/E/C experience to connecting people, building relationships and creating opportunities. A modern-day Snow White, she has 4 cats and a backyard crew of furry visitors. 

 Mr. Mike Foscolos has 31 years of business development and procurement, client relations experience project management, project coordination, and cost estimating. Outside of work, Mike enjoys playing pinball, and hanging out with his six grandkids at Disneyland. 

Lori Sellers is a associate/office manager for LSA. As a treasurer for BDAIE you will always see her at events connecting with other industry leaders.  She is a medieval history enthusiast, and it is her favorite rabbit hole to explore. Huzzah!

 Rocio Carrillo, PE, is a Project Engineer at Earth Systems and a registered civil engineer with 18 years of geotechnical engineering experience. A UCLA graduate with BS and MS degrees, she specializes in school and public works projects since 2018. 

 Jackie Martinez is Associate VP of Business Development at BKF Engineers. An ENR West 2026 Top Young Professional and BDA/IE Programs Chair, she fosters industry connections and strategic growth across the AEC community. In her free time, she loves hiking with her dog, Buddy. 

 Kay Toliver is a business development professional with more than 20 years of experience in the A/E/C industry. Currently with FMG + Company. Kay is also actively engaged in her community, volunteering with organizations.

With 40+ years in A/E/C marketing and business development, Maria builds relationships, strategic partnerships, and firm growth. As a BDA/IE advisor, she supports emerging leaders and is committed to strengthening the Inland Empire A/E/C community. 

 Candice Velasco, CPSM, has worked in the AEC industry as a business development professional since 2012, building relationships, shaping strategy, and positioning teams for growth across Southern California. She is active in APWA, SMPS, and BDA/IE. 

 Jeff Meiter is the President/CEO of Valued Engineering, a small business Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm located in Upland. In his spare time, Jeff loves musical theatre and often is on stage in a local production outside of his active role in the public/private land development space. 

Sherri Gomez owns The Garnet Silver Group and serves as BDA/IE Executive Director. Fun fact: While working for the City of Riverside, she created, cast, wrote and produced a 60-second “Shop Riverside” commercial encouraging people to shop locally.  

 Ali Hansen is Sr. Director of Business Development at Bernards, bringing 16+ years of construction experience and K-12 expertise. A respected industry leader, she builds strategic partnerships, advances communities, and champions collaboration across the AEC industry.
